Bareilly: Additional Director General of Police, Bareilly Zone, Ramit Sharma, along with District Magistrate Ravindra Kumar and Senior Superintendent of Police Anurag Arya, reviewed the arrangements for the Chhath festival being organized at Chaubari Ghat of Ramganga River.
On this occasion, a wonderful sight of devotees offering water to the setting sun was seen on the festival of faith. Various arrangements were made at the ghat from the security point of view.
During the inspection, instructions were given to visit the fair site Chaubari to be held on the occasion of the upcoming Kartik Purnima and ensure that the fair is conducted safely. Necessary instructions were given regarding fire fighting, electrical safety and peace arrangements etc. in the fair.
Necessary guidelines were given regarding medical and security arrangements at the fair site, road repair and lighting arrangements at the ghats, complete arrangement of high master lights in the fair, cleanliness etc. During the inspection, Sub District Magistrate Sadar Govind Maurya, SP City Manush Parik, CO and other administrative and police officers were present.
